Mindy and Jay

Dear Dr. Chin,

I just wanted to tell you that out of all the fertility doctors that Jay and I have gone through, I felt that you and your staff were the most caring and felt you truly looked after and were concerned about your patients' well being. Even after we were patients and seeing Dr. Scheiber and I needed your advice you were there! You had told me to take a hard look at what our definition of family was, and for that I am truly thankful. You always were honest with a sense of humor that is needed in these situations. Thank you!

Well, on to better news. We have now had our family dream fulfilled in June of this year. We now have a son, Tyler, that we adopted from Russia and he is absolutely the light of our lives! We are hoping to complete our family in 2004 by going back and adopting a little girl.

Please extend holiday wishes to everyone in your office and may you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Angi

My name is Angi and I have been blessed with the birth of a happy and healthy baby boy. I did not think that this ever would happened due to many years of infertility but Dr. NeeOo Chin is a "Miracle Worker". My husband and I had been married for two years when we decided that it was time to start a family. After many months of negative pregnancy tests, I searched in the phone book and found the number of an infertility specialist. This particular doctor knew of my infertility problems associated with fibroid tumors. He did an HSG on me to make sure that my fallopian tubes were not clogged. Once the results came back okay, he suggested that I be inseminated. My husband mentioned during this consultation that he had a lump in his testicle area but this doctor dismissed his concern. A few days later, I was inseminated with my husband's sperm. We were both on pins and needles awaiting the results. But like the many months that had passed, I again was not pregnant with thoughts that I might never be pregnant. I stayed with this physician for a year wishing and hoping that I would be able to conceive. I mentioned my experiences with a good friend and she recommended that I switch doctors and go see Dr. NeeOo Chin. This switch in physicians was the difference in being just a wife to a wife and a mother.

My first consultation with Dr. Chin was excellent. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Chin telling him very personal information dealing with our inability to conceive. He made sure that I felt comfortable in his office and actually requested that I relax on the couch while he sat in the chair. I can definitely say that Dr. Chin has excellent bedside manner when it comes to his patients. After my first visit with him, I knew that I was going to soon be a mother. Dr. Chin suggested that I take Lupron to shrink the fibroid tumors  and later have a myomectomy done to removed the fibroid tumors in my uterus. He felt this was hindering my ability to conceive. I trusted him and went ahead with the operation. Dr. Chin actually did the surgery and removed 13 fibroid tumors...no wonder it was difficult to conceive with all of those tumors in my uterus. Dr. Chin also suggested that my husband visit Dr. Tsuang, a urologist, just to make sure everything was okay with him since he had a lump in his testicle area. My husband went to see Dr. Tsuang and found out that he had a varicoscle that needed to be removed. This could have also been one of the reasons for our infertility. The previous doctor I went to dismissed my husband while Dr. Chin took the lump seriously and referred us to a specialist. After my recovery as well as my husband's we aggressively tried to have a baby. I was prescribed Clomid 50 mg and inseminated with my husband's sperm. Again waiting the results, my husband and I said many prayers hoping that we would be parents. Well, I missed my period and went in the office to take a blood test. Sandy did my blood test and mentioned that she would call me with the results. When Dr. Chin's number came up on my caller ID, I held my breath with anticipation of good news. And boy did I receive the best news of my life. Sandy called to let me know that I was indeed pregnant but I would have to be under Dr. Chin's care for 10 weeks. Dr. Chin's office staff is just as incredible as he is. They were so compassionate and concerned about my well-being of my unborn son.

I stayed with Dr. Chin for the next few weeks when he finally released me to my OB/GYN. I truly did not want to leave this protected haven and wished that he still delivered babies. We said our good byes and as a nice gesture, he gave my unborn child a silver spoon. I will cherish this spoon and his undying love for his profession. This man allowed for me and my husband to be parents and I thank him for that!! Thank you so much Dr. Chin...you are the best.

PS - you cannot retire until I have another baby

Tracey and Bryan

My wife Tracey and I had troubles conceiving for about a year and a half. We were referred to Dr. Chin, and after our initial meeting, we knew we'd made the right choice. As set of treatments and nine months later, Jason came into our lives on October 1, 2003. We couldn't be happier! Good luck to all who come through Dr. Chin's doors; he's the best.
