Dear Dr. Chin,
First of all, we want to thank you for the beautiful silver spoon you sent for the baby! It was so thoughtful and I know that we will treasure it always. Also, I want to thank you for all you and your staff have done to help Bobby and I become parents. When we first came seeking help, we were so unsure of what to expect. You all were so nice to us and so caring. We were both immediately impressed. It has definitely been a long journey, but one I do not regret traveling. Through all of it, Bobby have grown closer to each other and also closer to our Lord Jesus. I truly believe He sent us to you. Thank you for caring for us as if we were your family. Words cannot express our gratitude for both you and your staff! We were so sad to leave you to try IVF, but we trusted your judgment and knew you would not leave us astray. And what do you know...we became pregnant on our first try! Isn't God good? AS I close, I just wanted to tell you that you are a great doctor and we were so very blessed to know you.
Love,
Bob and Sara

Dear Dr. Chin,
I wanted to give you an update and share with you our wonderful news. Finally, after 4 years of trying to become parents, Steve and I are proud to announce the arrival of our beautiful, healthy baby girl.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it possible. You diagnosed me as PCOS when most doctors would not have because I do not have the usual traits (overweight, excessive facial hair). As you may recall, you prescribed glucophage to treat me and then Steve and I relocated to Chicago. I became pregnant with twins in January 2003 while on the treatment but sadly miscarried at 8 weeks yet again. Determined, I continued solely on the glucophage (my current doctor was skeptical but respected my decision) and last fall I became pregnant with three fertilized eggs. Only one survived and grew to become our daughter, Sophia. Needless to say my current doctor has become more open minded to diagnosing PCOS and I hope others will do the same in the future.
It has been a very long road to becoming parents and you were there in our struggle during most of it so I wanted to share with your our happy ending. Thank you for treating me in what some doctors would consider an untraditional fashion. I will always be grateful to you, Dr. Chin.
Warmest regards,
Suzette |
